Mechanical Ground Stabilization
Biaxial or BX Geogrids are used for mechanical ground stabilization. They provide reinforcement for unbound aggregate layers. Projects include roads, reinforced foundations, and working platforms. BX geogrids have been used extensively worldwide for more than 30 years and have gained formal recognition in the US from the likes of The US Army Corps of Engineers, The American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-way Association (AREMA) and more than 40 State Departments of Transportation.
BX Geogrids are created using precise blends of polypropylene, co polymers and additives to resist high, short-term dynamic loads or moderate loads over longer time periods
